Behavioral Health Nursing Shift Manager
As a Behavioral Health Unit Nursing Shift Manager at Crozer, you will provide high-quality direct and indirect patient-centered care by coordinating patient care, and working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, patients, and families.
You must respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
Your day can vary from patient assessments, responding to crises, developing plan of care, to utilizing crisis de-escalation training training, including de-escalation.

Responsibilities Leadership rounds and visibility on off-shifts - Rounding with a focus, ie ensure Q15 minutes checks are completed, all staff are present and accounted for, policy/procedure compliance with pts.
in seclusion/restraints Improve throughput from the ED to Crisis and Crisis to the IPBH units Chart Reviews r/t regulatory requirements and POCs ie Treatment plans Detailed assessment of all 1:
1s at CCMC Patient grievance follow-up and resolution Assist in Code 13's and/or follow-up on BH patients admitted to the medical units Developing Individualized Plans of Care Following of Five Medication Rights Performing Patient Care Equipment Utilization Responding to Crises, Using De-escalation, Restraints and Patient Seclusion Documenting Nursing Process Communicating with the Physician Requirements BSN preferred Current PA RN License BCLS certification 1 year of Behavioral Health experience 3 years relevant clinical experience Charge Nurse experience preferred We offer the largest network of primary care physicians in the county, as well as four hospitals to serve your needs, from delivering babies to open-heart surgery.
