Short Description Lead others in providing prompt and accurate patient registrations while delivering good customer service.
Must be able to multi task and work in a team environment.
This individual serves as a lead and the front-line contact person for all incoming patients.
The incumbent will greet, register, schedule and provide general information to patients and/or their families.
Ensures that insurance information is verified, co-pays are collected, and that patient charts are prepared in advance.
At all times ensures a high level of customer service by providing patient confidentiality and care in accordance with the Patient's Bill of Rights.
Experience Required3 years experience in a medical environment required.
Some knowledge of medical insurances preferred.
Leadership experience preferred.
Computer literate, excellent communication and customer service skills.
Education RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required Recommended Skills Communication Computer Literacy Customer Service Insurance Management And Aftercare Leadership Multitasking Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
