AV Service Field Engineer's Primary Duties:
Work to achieve 100% customer satisfaction 100% of the timePerform service calls, troubleshoot, and resolve problems with A/V systemsPerform preventative maintenance of contracted systemsLoad and test control codeLoad and tweak DSP filesQA systems after performing workTrain clients on use of A/V systemsAssist in systems installation when necessaryCrimp, solder, wire pull, label, terminate, and other technical tasks associated with A/V systemsMaintain a professional appearance and attitudeResolve all customer service issues with managementMaintain all associated paperwork in a timely manner (timesheet, expenses, etc.
)Follow system drawings and wiring detailsSubmit markups when neededVan inventory, maintenance and appearanceFull compliance with company's policies and proceduresOther duties as deemed necessary by managementAV Service Field Engineer's COMPETENCY:
Strong client and service-focused mindset, demonstrate excellent listening skills and the ability to understand customer issues.
Understanding of how A/V systems function, and how to diagnose and resolve problems within those systems.
An ability to use discretion and good judgment with regard to sensitive or confidential information.
Proficient with computers, including audiovisual applications (ClearOne, AMX, Crestron, Polycomm, etc.
)Must have a clean driving recordAbility to work flexible hours and limited travelAV Service Field Engineer's
Experience:
A minimum of three years of related Audio Visual experience and an InfoComm CTS designation or significant progress towards it.
AV Service Field Engineer's REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to drive a company van to client sitesAbility to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach on a daily basisAbility to safely use ladders, scaffolding and liftsRegularly use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objectsRegularly see details of objects that are less than a few feet awayRegularly speak clearly so listeners can understandRegularly understand the speech of another personFrequently work on projects that require deadlinesAbility to lift and carry up to 40 poundsWORK ENVIRONMENT:
West Chester, PA office, warehouse and client sites.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
Business hours are Monday through Friday 8:
00 AM to 5:
00 PM.
However, required work hours may vary depending on business needs.
Overtime is possible.
The ability to work flexible hours is required.
TRAVEL:
90% travel required to client sites within two hours.
10% travel to client sites further away with possible overnight stays.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
